How JBL Increased its Cha-Ching Volume Retail Display Manufacturers

The challenge:

JBL asked Victory Display and Gemtech to revitalize existing retail displays while leaving the physical units (casing, speakers, buttons, etc.) intact. In addition to upgrading core technology, Gemtech added its proprietary POPView content management system (CMS) with advanced analytical capabilities. POPView enables JBL to monitor installation and uptime. It permits uploading new content from anywhere in the world. And it also tracks customer engagement by product interest, dwell time, and display screen interaction. A/B content testing is also analyzed.

The results:

Displays became a valuable source of information enabling the brand to make more effective merchandising decisions resulting in increasing customer engagement and sales.

The challenge:

How to make products stand out in busy big box stores?

Lighting! Gemtech worked with the brand’s team to engineer this colorful, dynamic lighting system, coordinating captivating RGB lighting control and color transitions. We then delivered the quality SmartPOP component systems to be installed in to their displays.

The challenge:

Gemtech worked with the display house to help launch 10,000 displays globally to mark the announcement of Fitbit going public. Gemtech engineers designed our custom SmartPOP digital signage video and lighting systems to communicate and enhance the product story. They were then tested at our US headquarters.

The results:

The displays continued to generate results for 4 years thanks to at least four content changes delivered remotely – Zero product failures.
